About Us

Kevin Cadle, Winemaker

After traveling around the world and working for years as an international school teacher, I knew it was time for a change, and I knew exactly what that change was. My last teaching job was on the island of Curacao, and it was there that I began to learn everything I could about wine (when I wasn’t teaching kids and raising my first son). I received a master’s degree in viticulture and enology from the University of California at Davis, but my real education started with my first internship and my associate winemaker jobs at premium Napa wineries. After learning everything I could, I felt the time was right to dive headfirst into my dream of starting my own winery.

My winemaking philosophy is simple: find quality fruit and make clean, crisp, and delicious wines. I am not tied down to certain varietals, but instead would rather find those that have perhaps been overlooked. Often winemakers feel compelled to make market-driven wines; however, I would rather seek out the finest fruit in the appropriate area to bring out the best flavors in any varietal. I hope you enjoy the wonderful wines I plan to bring to you!
